# How do I join / sign up?

Signing up is free and takes less than a minute.

Your first 7 days are completely free with our Guest Pass - no credit card needed. See what *Hey Lady!* is like first, then decide if you'd like to stay.

During your Guest Pass you can:
* **Attend up to 3 Starter Events** - friendly live practice sessions hosted by our team
* **Join Live Coffee Tables** - casual video chats with other members who are online
* **Connect via chat** - keep talking to the women you meet
* **Explore the platform** - see everything we offer

### Instructions on how to join *Hey Lady!*

1. Go to https://www.heylady.io/ and click **Start now for FREE**
2. Confirm your age and gender
3. Confirm your English level
4. Tell us a little more about yourself, like your experience learning English and your goals 
5. Book your first English session time
6. Add your personal details, email address and create a password for your account. Or, you can sign up with your Google account. Click **Confirm.**
7. Complete your details, tick the checkbox next to *I agree to Hey Lady’s* [*Terms of Service*](https://www.heylady.io/terms-of-use) *and* [*Privacy Policy*](https://www.heylady.io/privacy-policy)*.*
8. Click **Start my Guest Pass**
9. You will then receive an email with instructions on how to log into the platform! (Please make sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails go there)

### What to expect in your first 7 days

Once you've signed up, here's what happens:
* **Come inside:** A few simple getting-started steps will show you the basics. Take a look around.
* **Feel welcomed:** Our team knows when you join. We'll reach out, say hello and invite you to join an event in your time zone.
* **Join up to 3 conversation events:** Relaxed, friendly, and no preparation needed. Meet our team and other members via video and see what it feels like to practise your English with us.
* **Keep exploring:** Join Live Coffee Tables with members who are online. Take a look at our topics and lessons. Discover community interest groups and connect via chat.

If *Hey Lady!* feels right for you, you can become a member at any time to get full access to every event and feature on the platform.
