What's the difference between a moderator and a member?
When you create a public channel or group chat, you can also nominate moderators. Moderators have administrative functions in the group such as adding/removing members, archiving and updating the chat's profile photo.
How do I make someone a moderator?
- Find the group chat public channel
- Click the 3 dots and select Group Info or Channel Info
- Find the member's name and click the dropdown. Click Moderator.
(If you want to remove someone's Moderator status, just repeat the steps above but select Member!)
